Canto uses a worldwide network of Canto-certified partners to provide expert installation and integration services to our customers. No matter how complex the installation, Canto and its partner network can get the job done in minimal time, at minimal expense to you.

Integration services come standard with many software solutions sold through Canto and its partners, but services can also be added to any software sale. If your needs change at a later date, making it necessary to integrate your existing system with new hardware or software installed at your site, you can depend on Canto and its partners for that too.

Canto Software Customization Services

The open architecture of Cumulus enables Canto and our third-party development partners to provide customization services for all Cumulus products, including Cumulus Workgroup, and Cumulus Enterprise. There's no point in making an investment in any software system if it's not going to work exactly the way you need it work. While Cumulus products "out of the box" more than met the needs at the majority of our 13,500+ installations, a little system "tweaking" can make a new system fit right in.

Customization Options

The Cumulus development libraries enable developers to access virtually all aspects of a system. This makes it possible to provide customization that goes far beyond the scripting or simple configuration options available from Canto's competitors. The possibilities here are truly endless:

Client Software
Customization options for client software run from simple modifications made to the existing software clients that come with your system, all the way to the development of completely new software clients. This is a fantastic option for organizations whose employees need to do certain tasks with Cumulus, such as cataloging new assets or making workflow approvals, and you want to make their process as easy and efficient as possible.

Cumulus Servers "speak" to software clients using a standardized language available on most computing platforms. This makes it possible to build client interfaces for many hardware devices, including point-of-sale systems and even a hand-held PDA. Imagine being on the road and having your Cumulus system deliver an image of an asset directly to your PDA, enabling you to make approvals on the go.

New client architectures can be added to an existing system at any time, without affecting others using the standard software clients.

Server Software
Even the functionality of Cumulus Servers can be customized to suit your needs. This makes it easy to integrate your Server with legacy database, accounting or order fulfillment systems your business relies upon.
